It's time to enter sustainability awards for 2014

The awards, which were established in 2002, have undergone a refresh for 2014.
Cornish businesses have been challenged to lead the sustainable revolution at the launch of the 2014 Cornwall Sustainability Awards.
The message was delivered by environmental expert and Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Nature Partnership (LNP) board member, Dr Alan Knight OBE.
Dr Knight, who has previously advised DIY chain B&Q on its sustainability, said: “Cornwall was at the heart of the first industrial revolution with tin mining.
“We have now got a chance to lead the sustainable revolution. It is going to shape business models and strategies in future, so why can’t Cornwall be at the forefront once more?
“The awards highlight best practice in food, energy and resources, so we want as many businesses as possible to be involved and see the difference they can make.”
Organiser, Veryan Jones, said: “We have revamped the categories for this year, launched a membership scheme and revamped our brand using Ryman Eco, which is believed to be the world’s most sustainable font.”
Co-organiser and judge, Gitty Ankers MBE, said: “We’ve also responded to our previous year’s applicants’ feedback and updated our application process and broken it into three stages that we believe will make it more accessible and allow more businesses to apply.”
