St Austell Town Framework Framework - Options Consultation

The St Austell Town Framework Plan which is a document that is being prepared by Cornwall Council to help inform and guide future development over the next 20 years (i.e. 2010 to 2030). The document sets out: http://www.cornwall.gov.uk/media/6530740/FINAL-St-Austell-Apr14-consultation-document.pdf

  • a vision and aspiration for the area;
  • options for consideration where new homes could be located
  • options for the delivery of new employment and retail space
  • infrastructure that will need to be delivered to ensure it meets the needs of the existing and future population

The St Austell Town Framework is one of a series of ‘Frameworks’ that have been produced by Cornwall Council that will eventually form part of an Allocation Development Plan Document (DPD), which will sit alongside the Local Plan, the Council’s main planning document for Cornwall. The DPD will then be used in the determination of planning applications by Cornwall Council.

Friday 25 April at Bethel Methodist Church Hall 12 noon to 5pm
Saturday 26 April at White River Place (next to TK Maxx) 9.30 to 2.30pm (note the venue is now different from previously advertised and will be in the unit next to TK Maxx which provides a larger and more central position)
Monday 28 April at St Austell library 10am to 2pm
