Supporting the High Street
St Austell Bay Economic Forum, 4 February 2014 at 5 p.m., St Austell Brewery Conference Centre.
I am writing to invite you to the next meeting of this forum which aims to bring together Cornwall Councillors and key members of the business community on a regular basis. James Staughton, Managing Director of St Austell Brewery, has agreed to host us again at the Conference Centre in St Austell.
At this meeting, there will be an opportunity to hear from Guy Thomas, Town Centre Management Specialist, Cornwall Council. Guy will lead us in a discussion about the issues facing the High Street, and the recommendations of the Grimsey Review – these are enclosed in case you have not seen them. I hope you agree that this discussion is timely and the outcome will help inform the future plans of the Forum, and partners such as Cornwall Council, the Town Council and the Business Improvement District. Please do bring any other business colleagues who may be interested in this topic.
