Devon & Cornwall Police is working with local newspapers The Cornishman, The West Briton and The Cornish Guardian in Cornwall to fund youth projects with £12,000 of money seized from criminals under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The Cornwall Community Cashback scheme will see money seized from criminals offered back to the community.

Local charitable organisations or projects are invited to submit bids of up to £650 for funding and the successful projects will be chosen by the local community through a coupon and text voting system run through the newspapers. Organisations bidding for more than £200 must be able to provide matched funding.
