You are invited to attend St Austell Bay Chamber’s Business Community debate with our sitting MP, alongside the prospective parliamentary candidates for St. Austell and Newquay for the May election 2015:

Stephen Gilbert MP (Lib Dem)

Steve Double PPC (Conservative)

Deborah Hopkins PPC (Labour)

David Mathews PPC (UKIP)

Steve Slade PPC (Green Party)

Dick Cole PPC (Mebyon Kernow)

Please can you let me know if you wish to attend and would like a place reserved.

[We are inviting Chamber members and their guests one week before we open the opportunity to the wider business community to give you priority].

The debate will have two parts,

1) PREPARED QUESTIONS (45-60 minutes):

These will be questions submited in advance of the meeting and presented to the candidates by the Chairman.

Chamber members' questions will be given priority over questions from non-business members.

2) OPEN QUESTIONS (30 minutes)

Members from the audience can ask open questions from the floor to any specific candidate or to all.

The debate will ONLY involve questions relating to Business and Economic Development Proposals for the St. Austell area: If you wish to put a question to the candidates at the meeting, please contact me, by 28th February with your question. We will have to limit the number of questions asked on the night, and so selected questions will have to be on a first come, first served basis.
