This year, #ShopLocalSaturday is encouraging individual retailers to work together as well as co-operating with local media and their local council to promote the day and organise events and promotions.
Businesses can find out how to participate on our Get Involved page.
Members of the public, as well as shopping locally on the day can also get involved by posting a photo of themselves holding our poster on social media using the #SLSelfie hashtag or putting the sign up in their window.
Shop Local Saturday is part of a year round campaign to encourage people to vote with their wallets and “Shop Local”.
