Now in it's 6th year, St. Austell Torchlight Carnival marks the beginning of winter, a celebration for all the family in the china clay capital of Cornwall.
CARNIVAL PROCESSION LEAVES JOHN KEAY HOUSE AT 6PM
Our Torchlight Carnival daytime events kick off at 10.00 am in White River Place with a full day of dancers/choirs and live bands and the usual array of traders/charity stalls and childrens' rides.
The line up for Saturday 15th November looks like this:

11.00 – 11.20 am – Melodees & Harmonix
11.30 – 11.50 am – Champagne Ladies Choir
11.50 – 12.00 noon – The Amazing Rocco

12.30 - 12.50 pm – Doubletrees Singing & Signing
13.00 – 13.20 pm – Re:Choired
13.30 – 14.00 – Lucy Anna
14.10 – 14.40 - Harry Collier
14.50 – 15.20 – Ben Sutcliffe
15.20 – 15.50 – Big Beat Junk Band
15.50 – 16.30 – Lost In Space

Torchlight Carnival Committee is also pleased to provide entertainment in St. Austell Market House on the day:

12.40– 13.00 – Champagne Ladies Choir

Plus an extra dance performance by 4 Real Dance 11.30 - 11.50 outside Tengo in Fore St.
Carnival entries assemble for judging from 4.30 pm at John Keay House and the procession moves off at 6pm, making its way down through the town to the One Stop Shop for presentation of prizes. The carnival attracts over 1000 people to join in the procession and continues to be bigger, brighter and better every year. Spectacular lanterns, samba bands and colourful floats make this a party to remember.
