Focus on Social Enterprise for GEW

Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) celebrates the drive and commitment of thousands of inspirational people who are pursuing their entrepreneurial goals and dreams. SSE Cornwall HUB is working in collaboration with Social Enterprise Focus (SEF) and the Engine Room to offer a range of exciting activities for anybody interested in social enterprise or corporate and social responsibility from 10am-4pm on  Monday 17^th November. Activities include:

10:00 – 12:30   Social Enterprise Marketplace and Surgery Sessions
12:30 – 13:00   Discussion on ‘Pros and Cons of Lone Working’
13:00 – 14:00   Networking Lunch
14:00 – 15:00   Masterclass on ‘Getting the Right Board Members’
15:00 – 16:00   Social Enterprises in the Witness Box

SSE Cornwall will be offering 15 minute Surgery Sessions from 10:00am-12:30pm on the following topics:

• Figuring out your finances
• Writing winning bids and tenders
• Measuring your social impact as a social enterprise
• Working out your business plan
• Don’t get caught out by the law – legal and governance
• Get organised and be more successful in business
