Building on the success of last year’s Fair, the focus this year is on inspiration.
Inviting a broad range of employers as well as education and training providers which cover a variety of occupational sectors.
Contact with Employers and Education providers, who are enthusiastic and passionate about their own careers and courses, is so important for students and young people, helping to inspire and motivate them to fulfill their potential.
We want our students to raise their aspirations through exploring and discovering the many different career paths, entry routes and qualifications required. As a business, your support at this event can make a huge difference to students’ decision making and enable them to make informed choices about Foundation programs, Apprenticeships, FE College, and University.
A number of members of the St Austell Bay Chamber of Commerce have already agreed to attend; Access Training, Coodes, Cornwall College, Imerys and Ocean Group. Fowey River Academy would like to extend the invitation to other members to hold a stand at our event where they can show case the variety of roles within their industry.
Details of the day will be formalized over the coming weeks however I anticipate a start time of approximately 11.30 and finish at 16.30 possibly earlier. A buffet Lunch offering an opportunity for networking will be provided on the day.
